Linda's Blog Hop

Hi there everyone :) it's finally here Linda's Spring Blog Hop and I
am so excited to be a part of it :) Thanks so much Linda for inviting me
to join in my first ever Blog Hop participation :) If you are here from
Vero's  http://goldenmomentssometimes.blogspot.com
You are in the right Place and thanks for hopping with us.

As soon as Linda asked me to participate in this fab hop I started brain
storming on what I wanted to do I was so happy she had invited me to
participate and was extremely nervous ..... Instantly I knew what I wanted
to do. Wanting to do a wall hanging at first I figured I would do
a Canvas, but just a week ago I changed my mind and decided to do a
Embroidery Hoop Layout I had been wanting to try one for a while now.
Ok here it is hope you like it my dear friends :)

The hoop was purchased at Michael's for $1.45 the size is 12", the polka doted fabric I purchased from Hancock Fabrics from the pre-cut quilting squares on sale for $0.99. The fabric I loved it reminded me of Easter eggs and jelly beans just perfect for this blog hop. The chick and rabbit came from last year's dollar bin from Michael's, but had been saving them because I purchased them after Easter for $0.10. Using some of the lace and ribbon ruffle I had in my stash was fab as well as using some of the left over fabric from a previous project I made the yellow flower and mint green one the other two twisted flowers were a gift from Jo that came with some of the flowers I had ordered from her. The added  button was  also from my stash. The crochet doillie came from an Etsy shop as well as the white silk flower which came from my  ETSY shop @ www.jentaleigh.etsy.com . I have used a spring  sticker that came from Hobby Lobby which came in an Easter Collection and I got on sale for $0.85. The making memories plaque came from Michael's which I found a pack of 12 from $1.49 wow this project was a less than $5.00 can you believe it?  I will definitely continue making more of these it was such a fun project to create and very inexpensive. Thank you Linda for letting me share this project in your hop and I have enjoyed creating it so much.
Now for the give away..... This is what you have to do be a follower to my blog and tell me the most inexpensive Easter or Spring project you have made or plan to make. It will be fun knowing what you thought of my project as well. The winner will be announced on Monday the 14th of this month. I will read all comments together with my girls and hubby and we will choose the winner through random.org. Now here's the picture of the prize.

Thank you so much for stopping by and for hopping with us. Once again thank you Linda @ http.//scrapchica.blogspot.com this has been so much fun. Now on to Nataleigh's blog @ http://nataleighscraftland.blogspot.com

  8. Hello Alee'! Awesome project! You are so creative and so clever! In my mind, I can see your fingers flying as you create this! I miss you and the girls! Lets see...the most inexpensive Easter project I made was...I purchased a styrofoan tree shaps from the dollar store and bought some egg shaped m&M's and hot glued each one to the styrofoam. It turned out so cute! Only thing....Matthew was about 6 and he kept picking off the M&M's....it looked like a plucked chicken by Easter!
    Love you...hugs!

  11. Hi, This is my first blog hop experience and I'm having a blast. Love your project the colors are too sweet. I'm thinking my cheapest project made for Easter was last year when I made a Bunny Happy Easter banner for the grandies. It was made of white felt and paper eggs and all made from items I already had stored up so cost me nothing! LOL
    love your blog

  25. What a Sweet Project!! I Love the Embroidery Hoop, and the Layout is Adorable.
I plan to cover some papier mache eggs that I have had for quite some time. I bought them at the Good Will. I am going to collage with Spring papers and then either use stickles or maybe sugar glitter and some laces for embellishments. Maybe some small silk flowers and ribbons as well.

  28. What a beautiful hoop...I had never seen one made, sure interested in making one now, probably for my neieces so they can hang up on their wall...
As for your question, well I always try to buy stuff on sale or with a coupon, and definately the awesome sales after the holidays...TeeHee But, one thing I do for Eater, every year, (semi-embarassed) but I save the plastic eggs...there I said it, Haa Haa Those darn things are so convenient to have for the candies and stuff, but its such a shame when they just get thorwn away once the goodies are out...So I go around and collect them and next year, I whip them out again...kids don't care--as long as they get their candy, they don't care about the container, and the fact that they've probably pick it two or three years in a row...TeeHee

Oops, surper long...well gotta go to the next beautiful ladie....bye.

    Peace,
    Norma
